Sooth a Sunburn
If you’re pasty white and can burn just from hearing the word ‘sun’, sooth your pain by applying a few tea bags to the damaged spot.
Make you look younger
You can get rid of the tired, puffy-eyed monster look by soaking two tea bags in warm water, lying on your back and applying them on your closed eyelids. This will probably make you look like a crazy person to your spouse or kids but it’s worth it.
Drain a boil
If you can stand to not pick at it at it, you can apply a wet tea bag overnight and it should drain by the next morning.
If like me, you’ve gotten a gross wart from a nasty gym before, you can heal it by leaving a cool bag on it for 15 minutes 3 times a day. The acidity will kill it.
To get meat that melts in your mouth, marinate them in black tea first. Steep 4 tablespoons of black tea in warm water. Strain the leaves out and sir in 0.5 cup of brown sugar. Pour the liquid over your meat and cook at 325°F until tender.
Condition Dry Hair
Using 1 Liter of warm unsweetened tea to rinse your hair after shampooing can do wonders for your hair.
To avoid using harsh chemicals on your hair and scalp, you can use tea as a healthy and cheap alternative to hair dyes. All you need is 3 tea bags, 1 tablespoon of rosemary and 1 tablespoon of sage. Add 1 cup of boiling water, leave it overnight and strain it in the morning. Shampoo your hair as usual, and then soak your hair in the liquid. Don’t rinse and just lightly towel dry. This could take a few tries, so be patient.
Get rid of those blood sucking monsters by burning some tea leaves. The fumes will keep them away with no chemical side effects.
So not only is tea inexpensive, low in calories and good for your health, it’s also fantastic for curing minor ailments. What more could you possible want in a beverage?
