Dye Hair

To avoid using harsh chemicals on your hair and scalp, you can use tea as a healthy and cheap alternative to hair dyes. All you need is 3 tea bags, 1 tablespoon of rosemary and 1 tablespoon of sage. Add 1 cup of boiling water, leave it overnight and strain it in the morning. Shampoo your hair as usual, and then soak your hair in the liquid. Don’t rinse and just lightly towel dry. This could take a few tries, so be patient.

Repel Mosquitoes

Get rid of those blood sucking monsters by burning some tea leaves. The fumes will keep them away with no chemical side effects.

So not only is tea inexpensive, low in calories and good for your health, it’s also fantastic for curing minor ailments. What more could you possible want in a beverage?
